While I've been waiting on the contest, I've been working on something special :D

So the time has finally come for you to vote on your favorite concept & enter yourself into the Tea Cup Giveaway to win! The concept with the most votes with be created twice, with one cup going to the person behind the idea & one given away at random to one of you!

I noticed as I came to post this that it was my 300th entry on the site, how fun & fitting! I haven't had a chance to fully edit the detailed closet tour so I decided to upload a quick 360 preview to hold you over til the other video is up.

Its time for my first giveaway of the year and this is a good one! Watch the video below to learn more -

Hey Little Monsters!

Here is my (2) follow up videos featuring the answers to everyones questions! Granted it's a bit long winded, I wanted to make sure I answered things well + touch on a bit of everything : wigs, tutorials, tattoos, drag & more plus there's a bit at the end of the 2nd video you will want to catch! I also talk about the closet, some things to come & other random nonsense. A lot was cut from these, so expect multiple new videos coming. [ Closing shop ]

Hey Little Monsters!

First of all - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 So I finally got a chance to check out what GaGa's Workshop at Barneys had to offer in the flesh while I was in Las Vegas (I also ran into @JessicaBoots there!) and to pick up a few of the things I wanted. I will say I was semi-sad to see the little they had, it was one small table with goodies on 2nd floor then a larger area, still just a few tables, downstairs with all the items they had. I know it was way late into the season so I didn't expect everything to be stocked but I'm pretty sure what they did have was pretty much all the carried this whole time ie: the stockings, candies/cookies, playing cards, mirrors, totes, nails + nail polish, toys & pen, etc. I was hoping since it was Vegas they'd have some of the a-morir pieces or maybe the Noritaka Tatehana shoes on display but no, I did salivate over the jewelry though!

The saddest thing about not being able to visit the store in NY was this AMAZING window display!

My wish list was long, I really had my heart set on some things (or so I thought) including the nails, but practicality + the fact that the things I once wanted now seemed silly once they were in my hand + more $$$ than I wanted to spend while I was already on vacation. I'm sad I passed on the press-ons, but from my experience as a queen, its rare that a set fits my nails (since I've got big man hands) so for $45 a pop, I wasn't willing to make the investment. I left walking out with a tote, the Deborah Lippmann holographic nail polish set and the metal cased sharpie. I also have the playing cards already that I got free from the site.

Did any of you visit the Workshop this Holiday season or maybe shopped it online? I was going to pick up a few things on sale but I heard people were having issues ordering & that they were being canceled so I decided to pass. What did you walk away with, I am curious to know! Hope everyone had a great New Years & is looking forward to 2012!

[ Armed & Dangerous ]

 Hey Little Monsters!

So I know were going on forever here without an update but here I am with a few things to share with you guys before my flight to Vegas!

Its not only New Years but my birthday(today!) weekend so I will be sipping some Jameson & dancing the haus down but before that, I've been busy in my closet working on a ton of new things, so here's a mega post to regain your attention!

Lets start with my "Marry The Night" inspired chest armor-

Sadly this doesn't photograph the greatest, the glitter detailing looks really cool in person but like crap in these. This was made completely from card stock, I was really surprised at how durable it was once I finished it, I think its because of the layering I did but it holds it's shape & bounced right back after being kicked around during my number. I want to make a better version of this thats more accurate to the video but this was my 3rd attempt with the materials I had around the house so I'm pretty pleased with it for being done over a nights time. As you guys know, I'm a big fan of paper/cardboard/card stock, it can pretty much be used for anything & once coated with paint or a sealer its quite durable!

Another new favorite is this light up disco crystal bra -

I have quite a few things that light up, but never enough, so I made this fab disco crystal bra! It's not 100% finished, I still need to do something in the center but I've used it 3x so far & the crowd always loves it! The lights are from Michaels, just a string of battery powered white lights that I attached to the bra then added the crystals over. You can catch it in action below, plus you can see the dress I made which also lights up :)

Moving on, lets discuss some shoes!

I've had a pair of the pleaser boots that GaGa loves forever but they were never the right height ( I ordered the 8") & after getting a ton of use out of them, I decided it was time to order a new pair in the proper height + give my old pair a makeover!

 I actually recorded a tutorial of how I did these which I'll have posted on my youtube after the first of the year. The process was quite simple & you achieve amazing results, only calling for glitter, modgepodge & a clear spray sealer!

I am still taking questions for my video so leave a comment HERE or on the video, I will be doing my response next week so give me some good material to work with! One of the major repeating questions I got was about my wigs which I will talk a lot about in the video. Here is one I colored a month or so back that I just re-styled for a shoot (photos coming soon). I have a mix of human & synthetic wigs so I will touch on how I style/cut/color both + how different it is between the two.

[ Happy Holi-GaGa-Days! ]

Hey Little Monsters!

I wanted to start with a Happy (late) Thanksgiving to everyone, I (like most of you, I assume) had a wonderful dinner with my family & finished the night with "A Very GaGa Thanksgiving", talk about a special! Besides the fact that the performances were beautiful, the whole thing was done so wonderfully, bringing in the highest ratings/viewers in years! For the perfection displayed in this, her solo directoral debut, its obvious that 'Marry The Night' is going to be mind blowing.

In other (brief) news, in conjunction with my Q & A video, the follow up video with also come with a closet tour since its highly requested. I've gotten a ton of questions about wigs, all which I will answer but one that I always talk about is CUSTOM ORDER wigs & the answer is YES, I do custom orders! You can always email me to inquire. Please send along an idea of what you're looking for plus a photo or two, each one is made for you so the price will be based upon your desires. 

ALSO, I've decided that I'm going to do a holiday giveaway, I know how much ya'all love free goodies! [ Multicolor Dreams ]

Hey Little Monsters!

Just wanted to do a quick update with some things I've been working on lately! October was beyond busy for me with work, shows & Halloween events that I didn't have a chance to share a ton!

Lets start with some wigs!

This which is my new favorite cotton candy dream was colored with an ombre effect of pinks to purple & I LOVE her! I've been wanting something similar to this for a while but put it off, finally got around to making it & I think I want to do another one using the same technique but different colors.

As usual, I've been working on my custom orders as well. This "electroblonde" yellow/blonde combo will ALWAYS & FOREVER be my favorite which is why I will be sad to see this go, I think its about time I made myself a new one, too!

This was just something I did but forgot to post, I loved all of the two-tone black/white wigs GaGa wore earlier in this era but could never commit to just coloring the bangs black in a wig so I made myself some black clip-on bags that can be added to any wig at any time!

Finally I wanted to share this necklace I made to wear for a Halloween show which is nicknamed "Shards of my Heart". I used this prop broken glass I had, punched it & linked it together with chain. I really want to get more into accessorie making from scratch, this project didn't take me long at all but it looks so different, the other queens were jealous!
